Gallery of Photographs

These photographs were originally 5 x 7 “cabinet style” photographs provided to The Citadel by their families at the personal request of Gen. P. Summerall, the college’s president at that time. The photographs were hung in the reading room of the cadet library located in Bond Hall and displayed as a “Gallery of Photographs of The Citadel’s Glorious Patriot Dead of World War II”. They are now in the memorial books on display in The Citadel Museum. (Source: Steve Smith ’84) Visit the Gallery of Photographs.
